Language register

my magazine will use a semi-formal register. But it will include some swearing, this may be due to using quotes from a band or a singer. As alternative bands are now on the rise and there is now a vast number of them this tone may make some of the newer bands feel like they are being taken seriously and the readers and the bands would respond positively to this. So I may base my register off of magazines like the Rolling Stone, NME and Kerrang.
